In the United States there is a new tendency in robbery and theft. Because air conditioners have large amounts of steel and copper, and because there is a large scrap value for these materials, they have come to be an easy target for thieves. Many thieves are stealing air conditioner units and selling them for their scrap value. What is the clarification to this problem? Many air conditioning fellowships are using Ac cages, air conditioner cages to safe their customer's air conditioner.

Ac cages, or air conditioner safety was not something we indubitably needed to think about a few years ago, but today this type of vandalism can cost thousands of dollars in fix nowadays. The best thing you can do is get some kind of ac safety and that can whether be in the form of ac cages or an ac alarm. The benefit of ac cages is that they are not as high-priced as ac alarms, and air conditioner cages are much easier to install.

So many every day citizens have been harmed by this type of vandalism, and it has affected everyone, residential, and business units alike, even rooftop air conditioning units have been stolen. Senior citizens, population on fixed incomes, renters, homeowners and even builders have been affected by these vandals. No ones air conditioner is safe unless they have an ac cage installed.

Cost of Ac Cages

Air conditioner cages run a join of hundred dollars, which may seem like an unnecessary expense, but when you are faced with having to replace your whole air conditioning unit because man has decided to steal the copper core out of it, you will soon realize that the hundred or two you have to spend on an ac cage is well worth the investment.

What are Ac Cages Made of?

Air conditioning cages are regularly made of some kind of steel or iron work. Some cages are even ornamental. They are specially made to allow breathing room for your air conditioner. transported Air Conditioner - No Vent - No Way

transported Air Conditioner - No Vent - No Way

A new visitor to my website asked if there was such a thing as a transportable air conditioner with no vent. I wrote back that I had never heard of one, but would check it out just in case some new enlarge in transportable air conditioning had slipped by me.

transported Air Conditioner - No Vent - No Way

What I found was the Haier market Cool 14,000 Btu transportable Air Conditioner. In the goods description it states there's no need to setup a vent, but then goes on to say a "window exhaust kit" is included with the purchase.

I think what they're trying to do is persuade you and me that the term "vent" should be applied to permanent installations only like those for clothes dryers, and temporary installations, such as those used for transportable air conditioners, aren't for real vents at all - they're "window exhaust kits."

Call it what you will, one way or an additional one the hot air generated by the compressor needs to be exhausted from the room. So I guess if you buy a Haier you'll be "window kitting" the hot air out the window instead of having to vent it like every person else.

The fact of the matter is there is no such thing as a transportable air conditioner with no vent.

So if you're finding for a transportable cooling unit that doesn't require venting, (and once again the term "portable" is subject to interpretation) you have three choices: A fan, a small window air conditioner, or a transportable swamp cooler - also known as a transportable evaporative cooler.

Air Conditioners Changing to R410a Refrigerant

Air Conditioners Changing to R410a Refrigerant

With the world craze to "go green" we are seeing a new law being implemented in the way we use air conditioning.  The existing law which many habitancy refer to as Freon is easily what is termed R-22. The R-22 refrigerant is being substituted by the R410a refrigerant which is a much more environment cordial and power conserving system.  This overhaul is slated for 2010 and will replace the R-22 with the R410a thoroughly because they work on two opposite pressure systems.

Air Conditioners Changing to R410a Refrigerant

Air Conditioners Changing to R410a Refrigerant

The copper lines that the R-22 use will need to be changed out because it uses mineral oils that break down into damaging carbons that are speculated to be causing the global warming urgency the governments of the world seem to be so worried about. R-410a will use synthetic oil that will be able to sustain at much higher temperatures than that of the old.

The old piping will have mineral oil deposits throughout the piping and this is what the new law is aimed at enhancing and replacing. If the piping is not substituted it will wreak havoc with the new law because it will not be able to take the pressure of the R410a and will compose deposits on the compressor walls and damage the metering device.

The implementation of this new law will need a fresh start because if you were to join the two it will cause the very same problems that the R-22 is said to be causing.  The old law could have moisture retained inside the piping and this does not go well with the functions of the new R-410a.

If you are told by an installer or sales man of the new refrigerant that you can use your existing piping because they are going to blast it out or flush them out make sure you tell them you know more than they do and you want to have the piping thoroughly substituted when they setup the new heating and air system.

Whether you believe in global warming or not is irrelevant because we are going to see a turn in all the carbon systems that are currently operating across the planet. This being the case you might as well do your homework and get a firm understanding of what these changes are going to be so you know what you need to do to and how to abide by the inception of new equipment.

Air Conditioners - How to Cut Running Costs in Half

Air Conditioners - How to Cut Running Costs in Half

In today's world, most population have invested in one form of an air conditioner or another. We have whether window air conditioners in our homes or central air conditioners. They keep us cool in the ultimate summer heat without fail; however, have you ever set back and looked at the costs of running an air conditioner? When compared to the base household fan the amount of electricity required to run an air conditioner is phenomenal.

Air Conditioners - How to Cut Running Costs in Half

Air Conditioners - How to Cut Running Costs in Half

Air Conditioners - How to Cut Running Costs in Half

When using an air conditioner there are many separate factors that can directly work on the cost of running it. These factors consist of the geographical location of your home, where you live and the amount of work the air conditioner has to do greatly work on the cost. If you live in an area that has mild summers and highly cold winters, obviously your air conditioner will not have to work as hard. However, if you live in an area, that has warm winters and boiling summers the air conditioner will have to work double time to enunciate comfort.

The disagreement in weather conditions from year to year will work on the costs as well. This is basically geared towards the disagreement in costs per year. One summer might be cooler than the next, which will lead to a greater bill.

The efficiency rating of your air conditioner plays an prominent role in the amount of electricity used. Most all appliances in today's world are rated, when you purchase an air conditioner it will have a tag telling you the amount of electricity that appliance uses. Look for air conditioners that use minimal electricity, which will save you money each year. If you have a model that is 10 years or older, it is certainly time to reconsider a new one.

Another prominent factor is the size of the air conditioner versus the house-cooling load. All air conditioners come in separate sizes, and each will state the amount of space it is designed to cool. For example, an apartment could do with just one or two window air conditioners, while a three-bedroom house could not. Closely reconsider the amount of space you need to cool when considering an air conditioner. While larger air conditioners will cost more money, it will typically save you money in the long run on usage.

The setting on your thermostat greatly effects the cost. A higher setting will result in the air conditioner running less, while lowering the setting will cause it to run more often. One galvanic firm suggests holding the thermostat above 78 degrees. This can save you 10 to 20% on cooling costs.

Finally, the local cost of electricity influences the normal cost of running your air conditioner. This is something you have no control over, however, you can control your own cost by saving energy.

Here is a normal look at the disagreement of running an air conditioner vs. Running a Ceiling or oscillating fan, at medium speed.

Running a central air conditioner that is three ton (and of median efficiency) for 8 hours per day for 15 days per month, with the median rate per kWh (kilowatt per hour) being 0.17, the median cost per month for the air conditioner alone will be .92. Astonishing isn't it? This does not even consist of washer, dryer, lights, refrigerator, or stove, only the air conditioner.

On the other hand, running a ceiling fan or oscillating fan at medium speed, for 8 hours per day, for a full 30 days, at an median rate per kWh of 0.035 is only .43. With this comparison you could run 68 ½ fans for a full month before you would reach the cost of the central air conditioning unit.

There are many other things you can do to lower you galvanic bill. Things such as, inspect, clean, or replace your air conditioner filters monthly. When you are not in your home, raise the temperature on your thermostat, holding in mind pets when you do. Lower the temperature of your water heater to 120 degrees, wash only full loads in your dishwasher or clothes washer, and use the power saving cycle on the dryer.

Other steps you can take include, replacing incandescent bulbs with fluorescent lamps, this could save up to 75% on lighting costs. You should also caulk all windows, doors, and pipes to prevent air leaks in or out, use weather stripping colse to windows, doors and pipes as well. Have your ducts tested for air leaks; leaking ducts can reduce the efficiency of your air conditioner by up to 20%.

Based on the volume of air in it, the tonnage of the air conditioner is decided. Since Window Air Conditioners are fitted on windows, installing them requires a bit of carpentry work. The carpenter fits in a frame for the air conditioner. Sales Letter Example That Sells

Sales Letter Example That Sells

Sales Letter Example That Sells, No Matter The Industry

A sales letter is the page designed to sell your product. You can have a splendid product, but you won't earn a nickel if your sales letter lacks sizzle.

Your sales letter should grab a visitor's attention, prove you provide a solution, take off risk, state a call to action, and hopefully (if done well) generate a sale.

Here is an example of how we write a sales letter...

All great sales letters include the following:
1. Catchy Headers and Subheaders
2. Unique Selling Proposition
3. Stated stock Benefits
4. Testimonials
5. Special Offers
6. Digital Covers
7. Video Demos
8. Exceptional Guarantees
9. Trust construction Techniques
10. Bonuses
11. Follow-Ups
12. P.S.

Catchy Headers and Subheaders

Your main header, also referred to as a H1 tag, can:
o Target a pain point. "Are You Losing Your Hair?"
o Highlight a benefit. "Now You Can Re-grow Your Hair... Without Chemicals!"
o Invoke curiosity. "Can Broccoli preclude Hair Loss?"
o Include keywords.

Your subheaders will effect the same format as your header. These two work best when they attack the reader from two dissimilar angles. Your headline could invoke curiosity, while the sub-headline makes a bold claim like this "Now You Can Re-grow Your Hair... Without Chemicals!"

Example Headlines for a Sales Letter
o Who Else Wants _______?
o The inexpressive of _________
o Here's How You Can (benefit) Without (problem)...
o Little Known Ways to _____________
o Get Rid of ________________ Once And For All!
o Warning: This Letter Is For Serious __________ Only.
o Are You Still Suffering From _________?
o Are You development These Same Mistakes?
o At Last! The (credibility indicator like "Bestselling" or "As seen on Oprah") law That Is Revolutionizing ___________
o Save Yourself 30% on _________ By Following This straightforward Steps
o How I Went From (loser) to (winner) in Just 2 Weeks!
o How To (Cook Thai Food) Like The (Locals)
o 56 Ways ____________Saves You Time, Work and Money

Highlight Your Unique Selling Proposition

This is where you subtly demonstrate to your reader that your competition sucks. To do this, search for your competitor's sales letters, noting the benefits they offer- and more importantly, those they lack. Even if the two of you are selling the same product, you can position your offer in very dissimilar ways. Are they gift a money back guarantee? Do they fail to cover a specific topic that your explain in detail? search for your competitor's weaknesses and demonstrate them to your prospects... Chances are, your prospects will shop colse to before committing, and it pays to plant the seeds of doubt in their minds about your competitors. Remember that subtlety is the key; you don't want to smear yourself as well!

Focus on Benefits, Not Features

Don't rattle off the features of your product; explain to your expectation how they will advantage from it. For example, if you're selling air conditioners, citizen aren't concerned in the features (e.g. Voltage, wattage, what type of plastic it's made of, etc.) they want to keep cool during summer!

To ensure you're listing benefits instead of features, ask yourself "How does this highlight help my prospect?" List your features, then add the word "which" after it: anyone follows is a benefit. For example:
o Low power requirements, which lowers your power bill.
o New polymer plastic casing, which cools your house faster than traditional models.
o Timer setting, which saves you the hassle of getting up in the middle of the night to turn it off.

I've heard this phrase so many times I roughly narrate it in my sleep, and yet, so many citizen forget this straightforward law of copywriting. Bullet points tend to work best in sales letters, as they are unquestionably scanned by readers. Keep in mind that your prospects aren't concerned in every particular advantage your stock offers, just the ones that apply to them. By listing off dozens of benefits, you are addition the likelihood your prospects will come across one or two main benefits they are most concerned in, and buy your product.

Include Testimonials

My wife and I were on Ko Phi Phi Island in Thailand (where the movie "The Beach" was filmed) getting ready to grab a bite. While looking at a map, a consolidate of guys came up to us and recommended a cafeteria saying, "This is the best cafeteria we've been to on the island. You should check it out."

Guess where we went for dinner?

We didn't personally know these guys, yet we trusted them. This demonstrates what is known as communal proof - citizen development decisions based on man else's experience. If you're concerned in something and you see that it has worked for others, you are more likely to trust them and-case in point- buy it. Testimonials are a great way to demonstrate communal proof to your prospects; they can see for themselves that your stock works and provides value to real citizen without you forcing it down there throats. Rather than singing your own praises, why not let your satisfied customers do it for you?

Here's two ways to get testimonials:

1. When you're first testing your stock (that is, the stock you haven't created yet) ask citizen you know personally if they can provide testimonials citing your expertise in a specific area applicable to your product.
2. Once you generate and sell your product, effect up with the customer via email and ask for a testimonial. Here's what I use:

Dear ,
Thanks for taking our free policy on . Many others have written to tell us how this policy has helped , and I sincerely hope you feel the same way.
I'd like to ask a favor. We're all the time trying to improve our course, and would greatly appreciate your feedback. If it's Ok with you, please take a occasion and jot down your thoughts in the box below. I promise not to include any personal information other than your name and city.
Feel free to say anyone you feel. If you have some ideas on how to improve our course, we're all ears.
Thanks , and I hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,

Testimonial Box
I understand that has the right to use these comments in their marketing material. I also understand will Not use any personal information with the irregularity of my name and city.

Comments:

Make sure to include a personal email address you check frequently in order to stay on top of testimonials as they come in.

Some citizen recommend gift an incentive in exchange for a testimonial such as a free report, though I've never had any trouble securing them with this form. Besides, if your free policy isn't good sufficient to certify praise, you probably need to think your stock offer.

As the testimonials start to roll in, put them on your sales page as examples your stock works!

People Don't Buy Products... They Buy Offers

You may have the particular many stock in the history of humanity, guaranteed to cure a wide collection of ailments, train your dog to stop barking and originate world peace, but without compiling it into a dynamite offer your stock will fall flatter than a soufflé in a snowstorm.

Think of it this way: when you go to a fine dining restaurant, you're not just paying for the flavor of the food; you're also paying for the presentation. Your offer is the presentation; if your prospects don't like the presentation they won't even try your product. This is why creating a solid offer is imperative for your system's success.

So what makes a good offer? Here are the key components you of a dynamite offer:

Have capability Digital Cover

If you're creating an information stock that includes several downloadable Cds, generate a professional looking digital Cd cover for each disc. If you have an e-book or special report, generate covers for those as well. Be sure to include screenshots of the article as well, which should be expertly formatted.

Include Video Demos

Videos are a great tool for marketing your stock and should be used where possible- I've used video demos for several products with great success. The process is simple: use Camtasia to record you demonstrating your stock while explaining its benefits, then upload the video to YouTube and embed the code they give you onto your website. We'll talk about video marketing more in a bit.

Offer an Exceptional Guarantee

The main function of a certify is to take off all risk for your prospect. You want to make a certify so strong they'd feel like a fool for not buying your product. For example, you could offer a 60 day money back guarantee, and allow them to keep all the bonuses even if they decree to cancel. an additional one method is to allow your expectation to download your stock for one dollar, and then payment their prestige card the remainder seven days later if they don't cancel.

Build Trust

When I receive emails from citizen request me "Is this for real?" I know it's time to build a higher level of trust with our prospects. Be sure to include links to your privacy policy, touch information and a brief bio about yourself.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy policy should go something like this:

: Privacy Policy

is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of individuals that have contacted us. It is with that purpose in mind that we have formed our privacy guarantee. We realize that the concerns you bring to us are highly personal in nature. We assure you that all information shared will be managed within legal and ethical considerations.

Accuracy of Information

We strive to ensure that our records include strict information. If there are any changes to your touch information (e.g. Phone number, email, etc.), please email . We will promptly make any valuable changes to update your records.

Changes to Our Guarantee

We hold the right to revise our privacy certify as our firm needs change or as the law requires. If we revise our policy, we will provide you with the new policy at that time.

Web Links to Other Web Sites

Links to third party sites may be ready from 'http://www.yourwebsite.com'. Sites surface the 'http://www.yourwebsite.com' domain are Not maintained by and is Not responsible for the article or availability of associated sites. Recommended links are Not an endorsement or certify of other sites or organizations and are naturally in case, granted for reference. The privacy and safety policies of associated sites likely differ from and users are encouraged to narrate the privacy and safety policies of these sites.

Contact Information

Buy a P.O. Box at your local post office and use that as your mailing address. Forty bucks a year provides peace of mind; you don't want your home address advertised to hundreds of thousands of people, right?

It's all the time great to include a phone amount as well. You can leave your personal number, or get a redirect line straight through Skype or Vonage. If you receive lot of calls, think signing up with a call center that will take messages and accept payments (there's a list of them at the end of this book).

Bio

Including a bio is a great opportunity for you to sell yourself and build trust among readers, many of whom want to know a slight about a man before doing firm with them. Bios typically include the following elements:

o Educational Background
o Professional Background
o Experience with Current Business/Product
o Special Achievements
o Personal information (e.g. City of home and family information)
o Picture

All of these are wholly optional and depend on your relieve level with sharing information online. Internet. There is a fine line between highlighting your knowledge, skills, and achievements and advent off as a blowhard. Remember: the point is to build trust, hopefully to the point of getting a sale.

Offer Bonuses

Once you've demonstrated your stock provides value and removed risk with a strong guarantee, push your prospects off the fence with a few value packed bonuses. The bonus is all about perceived value; many citizen in fact buy products for the bonuses themselves! If you're gift an e-book on Cajun cooking, offer a video that demonstrates how to make roux, and several other Cajun sauces. How about recipes for cocktails that are notable in the South? A list of the best restaurants in New Orleans? All of these are easy to generate and dramatically improve the value of your product.

Follow-Up

Let's say your prospects sign up for a free two week policy on southern cooking. They are then presented with an offer to buy the full product. If they haven't purchased it, they receive an additional one e-mail, but with a twist: this could be a reduced price, an added bonus, or the opportunity to pay in installments.

State a P.S.

Believe it or not, many citizen will scroll to the bottom of a sales page first. I do it all the time... Once I know I'm on a sales page, the first examine that comes to mind is "How much?"

This is unquestionably why you shouldn't list your price at the bottom of your sales letter. Instead, use a P.S., or just an additional one headline that reinforces your value proposition. Rather than request "How much?" they'll scroll up to learn more about your offer.

This sales letter example should help you craft a profitable sales letter in as slight as a week. Write a draft and sit on it for a few days so you can see it with fresh eyes.
